Our History & Mission
In 1992 Marty & Tammy Norton started Eagle Publications, Inc. For over 25 years they assisted small businesses with their advertising needs by producing phone books geared to small businesses within individual communities. As the company grew, so did their customer’s needs and new products went into development.
Most of Marty & Tammy’s children worked for the company at some point and time and it has truly been a family owned and operated company. In 1999 Marty’s son Mason & his wife Shelley began working for the company. Mason started in sales and worked his way up to Vice-President, along with his brother Justin. Shelley started in the production department and quickly moved over to the accounting department and then became the General Manager. The company served the Metro-East area for a number of years, in the early 2000’s they expanded into other areas. By the end of 2005, not only did they still provide service through the Metro-East, but they also provided service to Southern Illinois, Kentucky, & the Springfield area.
The company quickly realized that their customers needed online marketing as the internet was exploding. In 2011, they started delivering online marketing solutions.
Mason & Justin, along with their wives Shelley & Denise researched other products to offer to their customers. They came together and decided to expand their digital products in 2015 to include social media and targeted mobile marketing. They were able to grow their clientele & manage over 1000 digital campaigns in the next 2 years. In 2020 Marty & Tammy decided to retire and HMG was born.
